At MEGGLE, we give top priority to quality, for our customers’ trust depends on the high quality of our products and of all our services – ultimately it is this quality which forms the basis for economic success. That is why we – jointly and individually – commit ourselves to actively bringing the concept of quality to life.
This fundamental idea forms the basis of our quality policy and is put into practice in every business process by means of the MEGGLE Quality System.
The driving force of the MEGGLE Quality System is the continuing improvement of our products and processes – always consistently geared to the requirements of our customers and markets.
The effectiveness of the MEGGLE Quality System is confirmed in many ways – in comprehensive certification and customer audits, as well as official controls.
Our main standards:
The Standard stipulates bases for an all-embracing quality system. The focus of this is on setting- up a quality organisation that involves every area of the company. To maintain the Standard, we undergo a review by outside agencies every year. The sites in Wasserburg, Bratislava and Bihac are certified under this Standard.
This is a recognised Standard of trading companies from various European countries which German trading companies have joined. Every year, an external review is conducted to maintain the Standard. The sites in Wasserburg (Consumer Products) and Bratislava are certified under the IFS.
GMP stands for “Good Manufacturing Practice”. Very high standards have to be met to be allowed to produce excipients like lactose for the pharmaceutical industry. The customers themselves carry out numerous audits to monitor compliance with these standards. As a supplier to every reputable pharmaceutical company in the world, MEGGLE has voluntarily signed up to the applicable GMP rules and regulations. The main emphasis is on the “Rules of Good Manufacturing Practice”, based on the legal provisions for the manufacture of medicinal products. The primary focus is on the safety of the manufacturing process with the aim of consistent product quality. The Wasserburg site, Excipients & Technology, is certified.
“Trust depends on quality which is ultimately the basis for economic success.”
