Toni-Meggle-Foundation

The sole owner of MEGGLE AG, Toni Meggle, contributed his shares to the Toni Meggle Foundation in 2019. This secured the continued existence and independence of the MEGGLE group of companies.

"In the foundation's articles of association, I have explicitly and irreversibly decreed that the company may not be sold," Toni Meggle emphasised on 16 October 2019 at an extraordinary staff meeting with the employees from Wasserburg. "In this way, I ensure that the group of companies remains a medium-sized company in the long term".

After completing his schooling, Toni Meggle first trained to become a dairy foreman. This was followed by training as an industrial administrator and the acquisition of extensive business expertise at the Management Centre Europe (MCE) in Brussels.

By the age of 29, Toni Meggle was already working alongside his father as a full partner in the company. Under his leadership, the family-run business expanded its operations from its former domestic focus to become an international enterprise, with core competencies in the production of butter and speciality butters, baguettes and functional powdered milk products.
