MEGGLE Supports Wasserburger Wunschbaum
Peter Fichter (3rd from left) was very happy about the cheque for Wasserburger Wunschbaum. At the handover Lucas Knauer (environmental team), Thomas Ranft (organizer of the annual Environment and Health Day), Laura Meilinger (environmental team), Harald Rüegg (deputy specialist for work safety) and Murat Serbeci (deputy chairman of the works council) were representing MEGGLE.
With much effort the money for a good cause was collected by MEGGLE’s environmental team, now the donation amount had been handed over to Wasserburger Wunschbaum (registered association). The executive received the cheque and as a representative he was very happy about 2,000 Euros.
The money was raised at the annual Environment and Health Day at MEGGLE. To support this social project all the employees donated money by buying cake or coffee.
“We are very happy, that we can foster with Wasserburger Wunschbaum a non-profit organisation in our surrounding area. The donations are exactly used for those, who need urgent help”, says Thomas Ranft, who was the main organizer of MEGGLE’s Environment and Health Day.
Peter Fichter, who has established the Wasserburger Wunschbaum association eleven years ago, was clearly delighted about the donation of the dairy company: “Of course, it is something special to receive that big amount by MEGGLE. On behalf of all the children and families, I would like to thank all employees for their support.”
