MEGGLE supports Bavarian Red Cross

Operations manager Andreas Mitterhuber-Heitmeir (left) and the deputy chairman of Rosenheim’s BRK, Freddy Eisner (third from left), presented the new vehicle to MEGGLE managers Marcus Hormuth, Toni and Marina Meggle, Prof. Dr. Bruno Meiser, Matthias Oettel and Dr. Angelo Moesslang (from left to right).

MEGGLE is supporting the Rosenheim district association of the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) and the associated district water rescue service with 10,000 euros. Thanks to this donation, a new vehicle for the officers-in-charge was purchased for the water rescue service.

"With your generous donation you have made a very important contribution to this new vehicle", said Freddy Eisner, deputy chairman of Rosenheim’s BRK, thanking MEGGLE at the cheque handover. He added: "With this modern vehicle, our water rescue team leaders are at the place of action very quickly and can coordinate the operations."

Andreas Mitterhuber-Heitmeir is one of the water rescue’s operations manager. In his main job he works as a system administrator at MEGGLE’s IT department. In the event of an alarm, he is one of the first to be called out to the scene. Many other MEGGLE employees are voluntary helpers, for example in the local fire brigades.

The donation for the new vehicle was presented by Toni Meggle, Marina Meggle and Prof. Dr. Bruno Meiser, board members of the Toni Meggle Foundation, as well as the managing directors of MEGGLE Group GmbH, Matthias Oettel, Marcus Hormuth and Dr. Angelo Moesslang. Toni Meggle honoured all the volunteer citizens in our society.
