MEGGLE apprentices organise ice cream “sale”
The time had come again! For the second time in a row, MEGGLE organised an ice cream sale for all employees at the Wasserburg am Inn site. As part of a training project, prospective milk technologists produced 24 litres of ice cream in six different flavours to sweeten the working day for the staff. And all this for a good cause.
As in previous years the MEGGLE apprentices made ice cream together with their training officer, Markus Kopp. They used the company's own buttermilk powder, home-produced cream and fresh skimmed milk.
The prospective milk technologists produced the ice cream in flavours such as cookies, pineapple coconut and peach.
The youth and apprentice representation (JAV) distributed the ice cream free of charge to the staff at the beginning of the new training year 2021. The employees had the opportunity to support the Wasserburger Tafel with a voluntary donation. With the sunny temperatures, the staff were happy to cool down during their lunch break and did something for a good cause.
