Covid 19 Vaccinations at MEGGLE

MEGGLE plant manager Gudrun Steppich was among the first to be immunized against Covid 19.

Start of the vaccinations at MEGGLE in Wasserburg against Covid 19. The company is part of the nationwide model project "Company vaccinations". The Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care provides vaccine to Rosenheim Civil Protection, which is administered to MEGGLE employees.

On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, the vaccinations kicked off at the side in Wasserburg. Already 80 employees took advantage of the opportunity on the first day. Further vaccination appointments are scheduled at MEGGLE in the coming days.

The immunizations will be carried out by the mobile vaccination team of the Rosenheim Civil Protection and will take place at MEGGLE Wasserburg. Employees who have not yet received an offer of vaccination will receive the injections during working hours. The leading vaccinator is Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Günther, who conducts the personal talks with the employees of the traditional company.

As early as February 2020, MEGGLE initiated comprehensive measures to prevent the spread of the virus. In addition to the rapid antigen tests, which have been offered since September 2020, the vaccinations add another important component to the MEGGLE protection concept. As a manufacturer of products for the food and pharmaceutical industries, MEGGLE bears a special social responsibility.
