MEGGLE YOUNG ENTERPRISE AWARD

The MEGGLE Founders' Prize was awarded for the eighth time in October 2019 at Wasserburg Town Hall. On the initiative of Toni Meggle, this prize celebrated its premiere in 2012, on the occasion of the company's 125th anniversary. A total of 50,000 EUR is awarded to courageous company founders from southeast of Upper Bavaria. In addition to the prize money, the three winners benefit from the attention and thus reach new customers or target groups. Guests of honor at the MEGGLE Founders' Prize included the Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder, Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Sinn and Ilse Aigner.

After a two-year pandemic break, a new edition of the Founders' Award is being planned for fall 2023.

"As the future is more important to me than the past, we decided to establish a MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award. Young entrepreneurs are pivotal to ensuring that small and medium-sized businesses will also be able to retain their key role in the economy and society in the future."
