MEGGLE YOUNG ENTERPRISE AWARD

 

“As the future is more important to me than the past, my fellow directors and I decided to establish a MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award. Young entrepreneurs are pivotal to ensuring that small and medium-sized businesses will also be able to retain their key role in the economy and society in the future,” said Toni Meggle at the awards ceremony of the first MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award to mark the 125-year company anniversary in 2012.

At the 19th October 2018 Toni Meggle awarded for the 7th time the MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award in Wasserburg's town hall. The following entrepreneurs are happy about 50,000 euros prize money:

1ST PRIZE (25,000 EUROS)

In 2017 Toni Meggle awarded the prize in Wasserburg's town hall for the 6th time. With this award Meggle recognised young and courageous fonders with a overall value from 300,000 Euros. These are the winners of the Young Enterprise Award 2017:

1ST PRIZE (25,000 EUROS)

Founder: Andreas Weinfurtner
Handmade and high-value barbecue, "Kugelblitz"

2nd Prize (15,000 Euros)

gepedu GmbH, Egmating
Founder: Christian Buss and Christoph Vogt (Managing Directors)
Development of online based test methods for career choices

3rd Prize (10,000 Euros)

Wanner GmbH, Mühldorf am Inn
Founder: Dipl. Ing. Reinhold Wanner
Local business consulting for small and medium sized companies

Prof. Dr. Dr Udo Di Fabio, a former constitutional judge in Germany, was guest of honour and held a speech about the changes in our society.

State Minister Herrmann and Toni Meggle presented the fifth MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award to the winners.

The prize winners were honored in an official ceremony by State Minister Ilse Aigner with the 4th MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award.

Founder idea: Innovative brewery

2ND PRIZE (€15,000)

Prechtl Engineering GmbH, Traunstein

3RD PRIZE (€10,000)

Impact Innovations GmbH, Haun
Founder: Peter Richter Jr (Managing Director)

In an official awards ceremony, the jury revealed which three founders out of the numerous submissions were chosen to win the 3rd MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award:

3RD PRIZE (€10,000)

Founder: Irmi and Anton Lamprecht (owners)
Founder idea: Regionally produced premium food products, particularly oils

The 2nd MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award was presented to successful young entrepreneurs from the medium-sized business sector by Toni Meggle during an official awards ceremony.

To celebrate the 125-year company anniversary, MEGGLE is presenting the MEGGLE Young Enterprise Award for the first time! The prize was awarded in September 2012 by Martin Zeil, the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, at the official ceremony of the anniversary celebrations.

1ST PRIZE (€30,000)
