Since 2009 our bakery is located in Gebesee (Thuringia) in the heart of Germany. The state capital Erfurt is only 17 kilometers away and is practically on our doorstep. The picturesque cities of Weimar and Eisenach are also not far away and attract with their numerous sights. The mighty Barbarossa monument on the called “Kyffhäuser” or a trip to the Thuringian Forest are highly recommended as a day trip and welcome change. Since 1906, the headquarters of our cheese dairy has been in Altusried (Bavaria) in the heart of the Allgäu region between Munich and Lake Constance and just outside Switzerland and Austria. The administration of MEGGLE Cheese is located in nearby Kempten. Working where others go on vacation - embedded in picturesque nature.
