For MEGGLE, environmental protection is the key to actively shaping the future in a responsible way. The protection of nature and our careful treatment of it play a major part in our actions. We include all our employees in our environmental initiatives and motivate them and enlist their assistance in actively supporting them. All the business divisions are included in our environmental management system, making it part of the overall organisation of the company. Tasks, areas of expertise and responsibilities are precisely specified within the management system. Furthermore, according to the regulation of packaging ($6) we participate in a dual system.
MEGGLE was the first business in the Bavarian dairy industry to submit itself to an eco-audit. Since 1997, the MEGGLE environmental policy has served as a basis for our actions. Every year the environmental management system, which is accredited with the international norm DIN EN ISO 14001, is examined by external auditors.
