At our headquarters in Wasserburg we have specialised in the production of butter and butter specialitiies, as well as in convenience products for consumers, so consumers' wishes come first for us: in line with the wellness trend we took the butter market by surprise with the successful launch of yoghurt butter. In addition to this, our Foodservice produces market-oriented ready-to-go meals for eating outside the home. Our products are valued by canteen and restaurant caterers alike. The Functional Products division incorporates dry products for the food, animal feed, Feed ,and pharmaceutical industries. Milk components are used in coffee whitener, baby food, bakery goods and confectionery, as well as for refining pre-prepared dishes, such as dairy desserts and meat and sausage products. As the leading international manufacturer of pharmaceutical lactose we supply the global pharmaceutical industry with innovative carrier substances produced in our Wasserburg plant. In 2010 our Wasserburger plant processed 210 million kilogrammes of milk, 41,3 million kilogrammes of cream, 1.75 billion kilogrammes of whey and 6,8 million kilogrammes of skim milk (6 % dry matter).
