Toni Meggle. After passing his university entrance examination, Toni Meggle trained as a dairy expert. This was followed by a diploma in Industrial Business Administration and later, by a studying at the Management Center Europe (MCE) in Brussels where he acquired further comprehensive business management skills. At the age of only 29, he joined the company as an associate, working alongside his father. Under his leadership, the family business that had only been active at a regional level has grown to become a company with worldwide activities whose core competency lies in the production of butter and butter specialities, baguettes, and functional powdered milk products. The legendary TV commercial for herb butter in which Marilyn Monroe confesses to Toni Meggle – „I am a Gour-Meggle“ – succeeded in establishing Meggle as a premium brand.

As an entrepreneur with foresight, Toni Meggle focused early on on a co-operative management style with motivated staff as well as on an open co-operation with the works council. He continued the project of building a workers housing estate which his father had initiated, established a company pension plan and introduced an employee suggestion system.
In 2002, Toni Meggle withdrew from the operative management and the company was restructured. Since that time, Toni Meggle has been Chairman of the Board of MEGGLE AG and regards himself as „Assistent to his Managing Board“.
