Matthias Oettel, CEO
Matthias Oettel was appointed to the Board of MEGGLE AG on March 1, 2018. With its establishment as MEGGLE Group GmbH, he became the Chairman of the Board of Management (CEO) on January 22, 2020. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the Consumer Products Division.
Matthias Oettel studied at the Chemnitz University of Technology and has a degree in construction technology. After his studies, Mr. Oettel started his career at Danone. There he gained over 15 years of experience in various key positions in sales.
In 2004, Mr. Oettel moved to Bel Deutschland GmbH as Country Sales Director. After a stint on the board of Nöm International AG in Austria, in 2012 he began working for Zott SE & Co. KG. Until recently, he was responsible for the German speaking regions and for Northern, Western and Southern Europe as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Marcus Hormuth, COO
Marcus Hormuth has been a member of the board of MEGGLE AG since March 1, 2018 and has since held responsibility as Managing Director for Ingredients, formerly Functional Products. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MEGGLE Group GmbH.
Marcus Hormuth studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and received his MBA degree from Murray States University in Kentucky (USA). He moved to the MEGGLE dairy in autumn 2000. At the company headquarters in Wasserburg, Mr. Hormuth started as sales manager for Ingredients (formerly Functional Products). From 2003 he was responsible for the MEGGLE Singapore branch. From 2009 he built up MEGGLE USA Inc., acting as its Managing Director and Treasurer in White Plains (New York). After more than four years as international sales manager at Street One GmbH, Mr. Hormuth returned to MEGGLE as a board member in March 2018.
Henning Dehler, CFO
Henning Dehler has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MEGGLE Group GmbH since January 1, 2022. His area of responsibility as commercial director includes accounting & tax, controlling, information technology and treasury.
After training as an industrial clerk, Henning Dehler studied economics at the universities of Hamburg and Aarhus. He also successfully completed certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
He has extensive experience in the financial sector of the food industry. He held various management positions at the Danone Group for 20 years, including CFO Operations and Supply Chain Europe. Since 2019, Henning Dehler has been Managing Director for Finance, IT and Corporate Development and Transformation at Compass Group, the largest catering group in the world.
